Gang Bang Scary Shit

Speaking about rape in whispers is no longer necessary. Every single day, we hear about it on television channels or read the newspapers about atrocities being committed with such (for want of a better word) alacrity. These hoodlums believe they have the right to rape any female based on twisted logic and reasoning they promote. It is sickening, to say the least, that these perpetrators are not being awarded the worst punishment possible. As we, the female sex, venture out of our homes to seek employment, study, shop, go out with friends, hang out with our partners, enjoy what the outdoors has to offer, we also have to worry about our safety. There needs to be some accountability as to why this horrid crap keeps occurring across the board.

These creepy crawlies have decided that they need to step it up, round a bunch of perps, and gang rape any female - baby, little girl, young lady, middle aged woman and senior citizen. Any one will do. Being raped by one person is terrorising it itself, imagine have a group of rapists doing whatever they want and the bloody part is that they get away with the crime. However, when they are brought to book, they scream hoarse about their innocence and even cover their faces! If they can outrage the modesty of women and children alike, let them not shy away from society.

There seems to be an unravelling of sorts, where men and boys think that they have some form of authority on the female sex. Here is a story of someone who was at the mercy of a ‘young’ boy who chanced upon her as she was making her way to church in the morning. I use the term ‘young’ because he did not look older than 18! This was about 6.30 in the morning. He stopped the lady, held her wrist, and asked her if she wanted to have fun. The lady is pushing 80 and was scared out of her mind. She screamed for help and a watchman nearby just looked at her, yawned and walked away. ‘Luckily’, nothing happened as the perpetrator jumped on his bike and cycled away. Another senior citizen, on her way for a morning walk, was accosted by a flasher. You can imagine her fear. To her ‘luck’ she saw another woman around the corner. They kept yelling out for help but no one came, guess people were asleep. The flasher did not stop and continued fondling himself and flashing away at the two women. They never ventured out alone after that incident.

Hey, you creeps out there, perhaps it is time you realise that the fair sex (as some call us), are not meant to be used. Don’t you people have mothers, aunts, sisters or wives that you respect? Or do you believe that women are mere playthings? Perhaps you do or perhaps you don’t, but the fact of the matter is simple. Today you may get away with rape, but when the tide turns against you and your daughter, mother, aunt, grandmother, or sister faces the same situation, will you cry with despair? Will you ask in horror how and why this had to happen? Will you cry foul at the atrocity? Will you chastise yourself because you did not protect them enough? Will you think that they should have stayed at home? Will you think that they asked for it? Will you think they should not have worn what they did? Or will you applaud the perpetrators because you believe that women/girls must be taught a lesson?

The bottom line is simple when a man (or men) needs to assert himself and rape an innocent person, he is suffering from some form of impotence. Sex is an act to be enjoyed by both participants and not a means to an end. Using a woman to pleasure yourself or to prove a point to the rest of the creeps is so bloody ridiculous. To all the emasculated men out there, perhaps it is high time the roles are reversed. You need to get a period, get pregnant, attend to the chores at home, cook, clean, look after the elders, look good, maintain yourself, speak when spoken to (as expected by the male chauvinistic brigade), earn, shop, and do everything that women do. Once you experience this part of life, you assholes will realise the pains that the ‘fair sex’ goes through on a daily basis. We have just one request - respect us, we deserve it, period.

How right you are. If men begin to respect their own mother, sisters, ladies of their families maybe then they'll try to change.

Water Woe

Here’s a problem about the water scene that’s plaguing our city with the authorities taking a lackadaisical attitude about our woeful situation. Guess privatization of this inactive force needs to be the hour of the day. What say? The heat at this time of the year in Feb is rather pinching and I really wonder what it’s gonna be like in the coming months. Here’s hoping that some rain will give us a breather and in consequence fill the reservoirs and enable the water man to actually attend to our ardent need. Moving on from the tale of gloom, with the onset of summer it’s time for the sleek and svelte to don the most happening items in vogue and show off their splendid bods. To the rest of us metabolically slow, we trudge the path of heat with the longing that this brand of ‘exercise’ (or lack of it) would shed the unwanted girth! Anyways, it’s a good time I guess both ways, coz everyone maybe a winner because..........the heat is on! ....... but not the ones with lack of water...

Happy Birthday Mama Mary

I sit here thumping away on the keyboard wondering about what to write and it dawns on me…… Many years ago when I was a young girl I was approached by a lady in Church to play the role of Mother Mary. She wanted to put up this enactment about the apparition of Mary to a group of children. I did not know who the person was and was surprised - my first thought was to decline as I was extremely shy. However, she did not pressurize me and instead asked me to think about it and after doing so and sharing it with the folks, I accepted the role. This play went on for about fifteen minutes but they were the best moments of my life. Many years have gone by…but this wonderful memory remains with me always. However, I feel sad at the number of people who do not acknowledge Our Lady. Jesus said “Son this is your mother and mother this is your son” and thus we embrace Mary as our blessed mother. She, as any mother, helps us with our problems, intercedes on our behalf and in return we than...

Cheating

Why do people throw good relationships for a quick roll in the hay? This practice seems to be growing and practically every second person in a committed relationship doesn’t think twice about two timing his/her partner. However, when they are “found out” these individuals don’t think twice about promising the moon and once forgiven you can be pretty sure that they are gonna do (sic) the deed again and again. I think that once they go the entire hog, they just aren’t gonna curb their enthusiasm! Cheaters know their partners will relent no matter what. They preen themselves with having “won”! However, if a person cheats on me, I would tell the jerk to beat it. Rather be single, keep your dignity intact than stick with some douche bag. Not my cuppa … What about you my lovelies?

Beginning of the End?

A short story here... Just read and let me know what you think? I haven't concluded the story just going with the flow. The erratic nature of the power supply left the entire city in the lurch and this seemed to be a frequent occurrence. In spite of pleadings to curb global warming people paid no heed to the warnings and this brought about the swarm …. The beginning was when the entire country was wiped out in darkness and stampedes all over going on well into the night. Headlights of passing vehicles were the only source of light as generators were giving way because of the scarcity of fuel available. Every living being was being held hostage because of the “no power and no water” adage. No rainfall = less electricity = no water = no produce = malnutrition. The crops were in a mess, pets were getting crazed, and livestock was dropping dead by the minute. Drought was at an all time high. Neighboring countries pitched in, but this deluge was gaining momentum across cou...

The Price of Public Humiliation

Two-Faced You know there are people who claim to be pals just to look cool. I had this conversation with a close friend who couldn’t understand why a couple of her Facebook friends ignored her in person. After our chat, it finally dawned on her that the so called friends just wanted a long list to appear hip. She updated her status and vented her frustration. An amusing story here - the same people who ignored her added their two bits about public humiliation and gave it the thumbs down signal. Weird don't you think? Plastic Smiles How would you like it if relatives followed the same principle? In public spaces they turn away pretending they do not know you leaving you dumbfounded. Here is something that happened to a couple of friends. They received invitations for a wedding where everyone attended the blessed event. To cut a long story short, my friends and their families were ignored and treated like social pariahs by closest members of the family! When they came face-to-f...
