Nothing really of consequence here but I am really wondering about our voyeuristic tendencies. Have you noticed an upswing in terms of reality shows that we are bestowed with on varied television channels? Frankly the idea of following a cheating partner on national television and witnessing them getting it on with another ain’t my cup of tea. But people who participate in reality shows know the pros and cons but we the viewers decide to criticize them and get all moralistic. If the TRP’s (television rating points) are up so be it we have a choice watch the program or don’t the remote is in our hands. We need to get a life and let them live theirs, real or reel. Also the fiasco about a married couple who weren’t married but who were, then a wrong name and then something else ... my head is buzzing… Why does this bit of news appear so interesting that it becomes the topic of conversation keeping us on our toes so that we are up-to-date with the … will they won’t they???
