Today is Ash Wednesday, and the beginning of a wonderful season called Lent that calls us to rise, repent and return. I take this from the sermon that the Priest presented this morning. It was so wonderfully delivered that it stayed with me without having to rack my brains as to what made me sit up and take notice. Taking this as a cue to get my life back on the right track – the narrow road, I hope that the rest of the season brings me closer to God. In doing so, I will learn the power of forgiveness and never keep score. I will keep you posted darlings about my progress. If I do falter, I sincerely hope that I pick myself up and stay the course. May this Lenten season bring you all the hope, peace and love that you need. Praise God.
