Two Sundays of Advent have passed. As the days draw closer to Christmas, the feeling of joy and longing fills our hearts. Buying new clothes or revamping old ones with something different is on top of the list. Losing weight is another main issue. Cleaning the home is another and finally making sweets is the norm, it never dies even as we get older. We pitch resources together buy those extras that we would never have during the rest of the year. Some of us ditch the diets and let go of negativity, all for a cause – the birth of our Lord Jesus. Midnight Mass with angelic voices rejoice at His birth. When the best voice from the choir belts out ‘O Holy Night’, we feel His presence accompanied with a feeling of immense happiness. Christmas, the day of Our Lord’s birth, heralds the feeling of hope, peace, joy and love.
