In Praise Of Botox

I was having an animated discussion with a group of opinionated people sometime ago and went on an endorsement frenzy advocating Botox. Just to give it a spin, I drove on the fact that once the creases are apparent I would scurry across to a well equipped facility and iron away the wrinkles. “How can you be so stupid” exclaimed one. “Why would you think of something so frightening” said another. “Are you so vain that you would do anything to get rid of the tell tale signs of ageing?” blasted the third. “This is a part of life you know.” This went on for quite a while and after they had their say, I had a good chuckle. “No, I wouldn’t want to go that route guys, not my scene,” I drawled but teasingly brought on the “But one never knows….” I can swear that at this point of time I was due for a clout but made my way out citing that I go by instinct. The Quiet Kid-2

Looking up at her mother Sally cried “Mom, the entire class wants to boycott me from entering school. They have been saying such awful things about me throughout the year. I have just received mails in my account from every single student in class saying the worst possible things possible. Why are they doing this to me Ma? I stay out of their way but still…. Am I so ugly that nobody wants to be my friend?” Hugging her daughter Trish kept consoling her. But Sally was a mess. She was shaking and the tears just kept rolling down.
