There is a general misconception that anyone desirous of leading a life without sex has lost the plot or is on the way to a cloistered life. This is so not true, because even though the medium (read sex) is a means of releasing pent up energy and a great deal of fun, it is not the be all and end of life. In fact, giving up on it is no be deal, because you do not have to deal with the pressure – just get on with life without the huff and puff and heave ho – you just get by happily.
An unmarried happy go lucky girl was scoffed at because she believed in retaining her virginity. People sniggered at this was because in their view – here was a girl who was always partying, had a series of boyfriends, but still retained her chastity. This was beyond the comprehension of a clichéd mindset! People opined that she was pretending to be virginal to retain her ‘reputation’. How stupid is this, eh? This is the general notion that every female who parties, has a drink or two, enjoys a cigarette, has a series of both male and female friends, speaks her mind, etc is ‘asking for trouble’. Perverse thinking speaks a great deal about a promiscuous mindset by certain sections of society. Who gives anyone a right to decide whether someone is ‘tidy’ or not!
The fair sex is no commodity to be used just because a certain group of men cannot keep their pants on. Look at the great number of rapes happening at alarming speed in our country and you wonder, what IS going on? The beasts that prey on the innocence of babies, girls, women and old ladies are vile. Gang rape by indulging in the lewdest of acts is a definite sign of impotency. Males that indulge in this free for all and get away with it invariably inflict their nastiness on other girls. When they are brought to book, they feign innocence and even shy away from the public eye with scarves to maintain anonymity. The best way to get out of this rut is to ensure that a very strict punishment is enforced. If society stops awarding so much emphasis on the progeny (the ladla beta) and welcomes the birth of a baby girl with as much gusto, life will definitely change.
I would like to end this with a quote from a young girl and I quote ‘men do this because they like to live out their own perverse porn show’. It is so sad that children have to lose their innocence and grow up learning about the birds and the bees in this terrible way. Please let us do something about this and nip this awful menace in the bud, right now, otherwise we are going to have to deal with a breeding ground of sexually frustrated and depraved men getting away with it… waiting to pounce on the next victim.
