How about the power of the bleep?

Using a cuss word to describe something I think perhaps beats the actual meaning of the word itself! The simple nasty that takes over and going the entire hog is just such…. um pleasure. I have occasionally wondered about the actual meaning of the verb or adjective that is being endorsed. This form of speech has taken over and become common place far surpassing the flow of words that we can use instead.

So, with the idea of turning over a new leaf, I decide that a positive change is the order of the day and let the ‘bleeping’ take a rest.

Awaken to a new day with the incessant barking from the neighbor’s dog (yeah that one again – will this ever let up) whose main idea is to get my ‘bleeping’ going! Moving on from that near mishap the rest of the day goes rather well! Patting myself on the back at 20.00 hours realize that it’s time to bring out the bubbly and grade myself with an ‘A+’ for today. Pour myself a glass of chilled wine slip into a restful lazy position to enjoy a nice flick and suddenly 45 minutes into the movie, the electricity goes bust. The inverter can give you just that much of a back up anyway!

Wtf! Bleep bleep bleep……………

With the lack of lighting, the mosquitoes decide to do their bit for the dark! Get out of my position to grab the repellent, only to trip over the sofa.

Ouch! What the…!

Bleep… Bleep… Bleep …


Moral of the story :

Avoid making decisions that I cannot keep. Darn! The odds aren’t in my favor anyway.

Here’s a problem about the water scene that’s plaguing our city with the authorities taking a lackadaisical attitude about our woeful situation. Cheating

Why do people throw good relationships for a quick roll in the hay? This practice seems to be growing and practically every second person in a committed relationship doesn’t think twice about two timing his/her partner. However, when they are “found out” these individuals don’t think twice about promising the moon and once forgiven you can be pretty sure that they are gonna do (sic) the deed again and again. I think that once they go the entire hog, they just aren’t gonna curb their enthusiasm! Cheaters know their partners will relent no matter what. They preen themselves with having “won”! However, if a person cheats on me, I would tell the jerk to beat it. Rather be single, keep your dignity intact than stick with some douche bag. Not my cuppa … What about you my lovelies?

Happy Birthday Mama Mary

I sit here thumping away on the keyboard wondering about what to write and it dawns on me…… Many years ago when I was a young girl I was approached by a lady in Church to play the role of Mother Mary. She wanted to put up this enactment about the apparition of Mary to a group of children. I did not know who the person was and was surprised - my first thought was to decline as I was extremely shy. However, she did not pressurize me and instead asked me to think about it and after doing so and sharing it with the folks, I accepted the role. This play went on for about fifteen minutes but they were the best moments of my life. Many years have gone by…but this wonderful memory remains with me always.
